How to Become Google Certified

Understanding real estate SEO means doing everything that you can to gain an advantage over the competition. Real estate web design is an increasing popular industry, and real estate SEO is becoming more important as a result. With just a few steps you can improve your real estate web design knowledge by becoming Google certified.

Google certification is a diploma, of sorts, and the test covers several areas, including Google AdWords and Google Analytics. Passing these tests will help you improve your real estate web design and increase your real estate SEO skills. It will give your real estate SEO skills and real estate web design credibility a boost and should be considered by anyone in the real estate web design or real estate SEO business.

The Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) test is one example of how you can improve your real estate SEO skills, and how daunting of a task it can be. This test allows up to 90 minutes for the test taker to finish, and the positive about Google Certification tests is they are multiple choice questions and intended to be open-book. That doesn’t mean you should jump into the test unprepared. There are 70 quests in this particular test, so you only have a little over a minute to complete each question. You will need a score of 80% or above to pass. That means you’ll need to get at least 56 questions correct. Also keep in mind that the test costs $50 to take, each time. So working to pass it the first time is vital to your real estate SEO and your pocketbook.

Google offers several “courses” to help prepare for the test, and improve overall real estate web design knowledge. Most real estate web design experts will know some basics, but Google’s tests are fairly in-depth. You can prepare for the GAIQ test by browsing through Google’s Google Analytics IQ Lessons, which are 21 different presentations. Plan on spending a little over 2 hours of your time going through all of the presentations. To prepare for the AdWords test, be sure to visit Google’s AdWords Learning Centre. There are several options based on your learning preferences so research for the AdWords test should be easier for most.

Because the tests are intended to be open book, you should have all the sites and information that you might need handy. Make sure to answer questions easiest for you first. Remember what you have learned from your real estate SEO skills, and what you learned from preparing.

Why Using Your Own Content is Important for Real Estate SEO

As the real estate SEO business becomes more competitive, any advantage you can gain over your competition is important. Paying close attention to changes in how Google finds your websites will help your overall real estate internet marketing plan top the competition. Google is consistently altering its algorithms to punish sites with bad content, like copyright violators.

Your real estate internet marketing plan and real estate SEO can improve if you make sure to use original content. Recently Google has updated its Panda and Penguin algorithm tools to punish websites that use copyrighted content. In terms of Real Estate SEO, there are a few steps you can take to ensure your real estate internet marketing plan isn’t damaged by these changes.

Make sure that pictures or videos that you post on your websites are original, and not lifted from another website. If your real estate SEO image and video strategyis similar to how you pin on Pinterest, you have a problem. In the Real Estate Internet Marketing business, going out to homes and taking your own pictures and videos may take effort on your part, but Google will reward you for it. It is vital for real estate SEO that you don’t lift pictures from other websites, like Zillow, when you can easily create your own content. If you are using original content, it would also be beneficial to your overall real estate internet marketing plan to make sure others aren’t stealing your content.

Another important real estate SEO strategy is to protect your copyrights. According to Hubspot, Google receives and processes over 4.3 million copyright removal notices per month. If you are using someone else’s content, in a blog, for example, the best course of action for your real estate internet marketing plan is to give proper attribution to the source. In other words, if you take something, let your website visitors know where you got the information. If not, Google’s algorithms will pick up on it and punish your real estate SEO accordingly.

Taking simple steps like using your own content will give your real estate internet marketing plan a major advantage over your competition. Real estate SEO changes happen frequently and Paveya is always ready to help you if you are unable to keep up. Contact Paveya anytime and talk to one of our professionals about your real estate internet marketing needs.

Bringing Your Web Design Back Under Your Control

There was a time when every line of type or change to a page in a website needed a specialist to do it. This meant the business either needed to call a web designer and pay them to make the change, or pay a salary to have an in-house person who was also their “webmaster” write the code for any changes. It didn’t matter if it was as simple as a new phone number or an update on an event; if it was a change in your website it meant a change to the code of your web design. But with today’s content management web design process that has all changed.

The Content Management Web Design Revolution

The recent development of a Content Management System (CMS) means that for a business owner they can finally take back control of their website and handle the simple changes themselves. The development of CMS brought new content management web designs where web owners could control changes and keep their costs under control as well.

But you don’t want just anyone to handle your web design even if you do use CMS as the basis for it. True web design and development goes far beyond the basic content. With a web design specialist like Paveya you can be sure your site is search engine friendly, easy to navigate and has the content to stop web surfers in their tracks.

Five Reasons to Use Content Management Web Design

There are various reasons that many businesses are looking at content management web design when it comes to their websites. The five that most companies can point to are:

1.       Ease of Use – While changing the design or functionality for a content management web design should still be done by experts like Paveya, the actual content within is now accessible for changes or additions. When anyone can be trained to make changes to content, add pages or posts or even drop in video or pictures the parameters of what you can do with your website suddenly seem limitless.

2.       Money & Time – These two big savings can mean a lot to smaller businesses but every size company loves to save money. When you can make the changes yourself instead of paying someone to do it and then waiting for them to have the time to make those changes, suddenly the world is your oyster! Paveya is an expert when it comes to the design and then trains your staff on how to make changes and additions to content so the rest is up to you.

3.       A Consistent Look – This is where Paveya can help give you a reliable look and feel across your site. Using content management web design we create consistent design elementsso thatwhenyou decide to add a new page it has the same design as all the rest of your pages, effortlessly.

4.       Flexibility – With a great content management web design you can add segments to give it greater functionality for just about any need. These little pieces are called extensions and can be large elements such as a shopping cart or small functions such as a contact form. With the new content management web design systems there are often free plug-ins for just about anything you can name. Of course, with a content management web design specialist like Paveya we know them well and can advise you on which ones will perform the best for your needs.

5.       Built-in SEO – No matter how great a web design is, your clients still need to find you on the web. That is where search engine optimization (SEO) comes in. This is just a fancy way to say that you build your site so that search engines can easily find it, and send searchers to it. While true expert SEO is an art form that requires more than the built-in SEO that most content management web design packages offer, the elements are there to give you a good start.

These are just the tip of the iceberg for why Paveya believes that a content management web design makes so much sense for just about any size or kind of business. From large corporations to small mom-and-pop business or even churches and non-profit organizations, taking control of your content while maintaining an expert in the development and upgrading of your content management web design is the quiet revolution on the web that could make the difference for you.
